The solar heater is a Heliotek equipment for heating water for bathing, swimming pool and industrial processes, interesting for using solar energy, an inexhaustible energy source, abundant and free. The tank heat Heliotek is responsible for storing all the heated water in the collector, and it should have special features for the system operates at maximum levels of efficiency. The tank heat should be installed, if possible, inside the home (for atmospheric protection and thermal) to a level higher than the collectors, so that the pipe is as vertical as possible, with a well pump movement. SOLAR COLLECTORS
  Fins and Welded Tubes by Ultra-Sound

The weld by ultra-sound is done in solid state between the fin and the copper pipe, not occurring fusion of materials. The union avoids the main problem of the conventional solar collectors, which is the notch joint of the fins does not present a good thermal conductibility. Moreover, they can deform and come apart the tubes that conduct water.

The weld by ultra-sound does not use fire, does not pollute and is the most precise and modern manner of joining heat conductor materials, with more efficiency for the collector.

  Fixation Collar Between Pipes.

Until nowadays, the most usual manner to unite two perpendicular pipes is to pierce the larger pipe, and stick the pipe with shorter diameter into and weld.
The method is simple, but little precise and it demands more weld quantity.
The problems is the weakening of the pipes due to welding heatind and the compromise to pierce one pipe inside the other, rendering difficult for the water making it flow in the collector pipe.
To avoid such problems, Heliotek invested in tools that pierce and pull the collector pipe, shaping an appropriate collar to fit the water pipes.
The mechanically fit and positioned pipes require less quantity of weld, avoiding the aforementioned problems.

  Solar Collector with Molded Box
Molded box in polyurethane, exempt of CFC, which significantly improves the thermal insulation under and on the fins of light insidence.

Advantages are:

  • Arrangement of the Fitting (fins, tubes) on the insulating surface, which avoids the air movement between the fins and the insulation;

  • In the inner part, the insulation has a reflexible surface to capture more radiation on the borders of the panel and also to reduce the losses per irradiation in the lower part of the fins;

  • More mechanical resistance, which protects the glass and the other components from impacts and torsions of the assembly.

  • Better inner sealing due to the perfect fitting between the glass and the box’s frame, in addition to exclusive sealing rings between the molded box and in and out collector pipes;

  • Lightness and perfect finishing make it a world international standard product;

  • The elimination by Heliotek of materials in disagreement to the international health rules, safety and environment;

The new Heliosonic collectors have extruded aluminum profiles that provide more toughness and durability for handling and service life of the system.

New collectors with molded boxes, due to their development, substitute the conventional rivets in many parts by aluminum profiles and notch plastic angles with an exclusive design.

After the injection of polyurethane, all pieces are rigidly fixed in a monoblock set.

The improvement in the manufacturing process, the quality of the product, and the safety because of the lack of edged angles makes the whole set with much better apearance.

After a detailed study, the pipes are welded in regions suffering less mechanical tension and far from the regions subject to abrasion and decantation or to materials in suspension found in water. Therefore, the pipes have less abrasion by those agents, that means, more quality of the product.

  Progressive Thermal Insulation

All thermal reservoirs have variable efficiency due to the degree of thermal insulation sides.

The sides or the walls between the heated water and the environment, in the thermal reservoirs of Heliotek are insulated with injected polyurethane foam that solidifies, shaping a low density cover and a high degree of insulation. On the insulation, another aluminum cover is placed, called the steam barrier that aims to protect the polyurethane from rain, sun and humidity, maintaining the insulating properties.

PS: The expansion of our polyurethane foam is totally exempted of harmuful gases to the environment such as the CFC.

  New Lid Design
The new lids of the thermal insulation, in addition to a steam barrier, are now thermally shaped, in resistant ABS, to the action of ultra-violet rays and with anti-fire properties. We follow the international rules of safety and we have a pleasant and modern design of thermal reservoirs up to 1000 liters.

  New Positions Of The Sustaining Belts

The thermal reservoirs were developed to have their bodies on a plane and level surface.

For a better support, there are two to four wires that improve the distribution of the weight of the water-filled reservoir.

Those wires also avoid the rolling of the reservoir and they can be fixated to a base or an appropriate floor.

  New Generation K2 Thermal Reservoir

For cold regions, the water in solar collectors can freeze and damage the pipes. To avoid the phenomenon, the most reliable way is the utilization of the anti-freezing thermal fluid (HelioTherm) in the primary circuit of solar heating that comprises the solar collectors, the piping, and the water heat exchanger.

For years, the K2 Reservoir comprises most developed manner of the heat exchanger: the heating shirt.

Nowadays, we developed a shirt with new design that allows a better efficiency, the service life increased and the flow direction obeys the flow principle in the counter current that is recognized as the most efficient manner of transferring the heat between two fluids.

The improvement is in the resistance of the new shirt that allows higher pressures in the primary circuit, which is eventually exposed to higher water columns between the solar collectors and the reservoir or to the increased capacity of circulation in the pumps.
